Chinese New Year 2012 in Mott Street at New York City.
Edit: Whoa, I come on for the first time in weeks after a ton of work from college and I see a Daily Deviation. Thank you so much for the faves and views! Thanks a ton for ^xbastex for featuring it! You're fabulous!
The colors strike first. A spectrum of reds and yellows and blacks. Then the subtility with which the girls dances strikes. Her hand is so graceful. The fact that the background is mostly black adds a nice depth to the shot.
The bokeh is nice, especially the buttons of the lady in the background.
I might be tempted to extend the lefthand side to include the third Chinese dancer or (as a lesser alternative) to use a portrait mode to exclude her completely. I may also suggest retouching the man in white on the right as it distracts a little and attracts attention.

Thanks for sharing this colorful shot.
